About Tamara Wilton
People often ask me how I became an acupuncturist, especially those who knew me in the business world. As I climbed the corporate ladder, I found myself working sixty to seventy hours a week, plus commuting, and suffering from significant neck pain and excruciating migraines. After making the rounds to the “regular” doctors and getting no relief, I decided to try acupuncture. My pain diminished significantly and because acupuncture addressed all of my issues, my anxiety was reduced and my energy levels were up in addition to my pain being significantly reduced. I learned to listen to my body and found that there was nothing “wrong with me” but rather I wasn’t taking care of myself properly. Because of my personal experience of healing, I decided to leave the business world and bring this gift of healing to as many people as I can.
